For the third consecutive year Islam Channel has chosen to support the Muslim Writers Awards in the capacity of a media partner, we are always keen to support such activities, with the aim of creating broader awareness, especially when recognising and commending the achievements of Muslims in the western hemisphere.
These awards are promotion of writing, a commonality within society regardless of race or faith.
The Muslim Writers Awards have witnessed a tremendous development in the past few years; we hope this momentum excels in the years to come. Islam Channel will continue to solidify interest in partnering with The Muslim Writers Awards, as it is an ideal platform for demonstrating the studious academic achievements of Muslims.

We at Gazelle Media are supporting the Muslim Writers Awards because we believe that we need more Muslim novelists, poets, bloggers, journalists and scriptwriters. We need to tell the world about our experiences, but also to communicate feelings, challenge received opinions and express ourselves.
We hope that the Muslim Writers Awards will inspire new writers from every area imaginable. From romantic novelists, to crime thrillers, historical biographies and graphic novels. We envisage a Muslim Poet Laureate and Booker Prize winner, we hope to see an Oscar-winning screenplay by a British Muslim. The possibilities are as big as our imagination will allow. So please, sharpen those pencils, fire up those brain cells, switch on those computers, get inspired and get writing!
