Showcasing diversity at Penguin

On Monday August 3rd this year, Penguin hosted a glittering cast of writers from the Muslim Writers Awards, as part of the second annual showcase of the Awards to Penguin employees.

The event highlighting Penguin’s three year partnership with the Muslim Writers Awards Shelina Janmohamed, author of Love in a Headscarf and award-winning poet, Warsan Shire. Irfan Akram, Project Director, thanked Penguin for being involved in the awards and promised great things to come for the next year.
