Neil Astley
Neil is editor of Bloodaxe Books, which he founded in 1978. He has edited nearly a thousand poetry books and published several anthologies, including Staying Alive (2002), Being Alive (2004) and Earth Shattering: ecopoems (2007), and two collaboration with Pamela Robertson-Pearce, Soul Food (2007) and the world’s first poetry DVD-book, In person: 30 poets (2008). His other books include two econovels, The End of My Tether (2002/2003), which was shortlisted for the Whitbread First Novel Awards, and The Sheep Who Changes the World (2005).
