Randa Abdel-Fattah

Randa is a twenty-nine year-old lawyer. Does my head look big in this? is her first novel, and, like its fictional heroine, she has her own identity hyphens to contend with as an Australian-born-Muslim-Palestinian-Egyptian-chocoholic!
 
Randa grew up in Melbourne, but now lives in Sydney where is active in the inter-faith community. She is also a member of the Palestinian human rights campaigns and the Australian Arabic Council.
 
She loves travelling to Egypt and Palestine and being spoilt by relatives. She also loves reading, getting a seat on the train, and any movie starring Colin Firth. Randa has a baby daughter and is working on her third novel.
