Erica Jarnes

Erica is an Assistant Editor at Bloomsbury, working on literary fiction and illustrated non-fiction books. She is a diverse reader, and is always on the hunt for new and unusual writing. Some of her favourite books of all time are children’s books including The House at Pooh Corner, Haroun, Sea of Stories and Matilda, so she is thrilled to be a judge in the Best Children’s category for the Muslim Writers Awards 2008. She believes the Awards are a fantastic way to expand the literary dialogue in this country to include perspectives which are currently under-represented.
